Wanderland—Philippines arts and music festival
Featuring a range of both homegrown and international talent, the arts and music festival Wanderland has been a fixture of the Philippines live circuit since 2013. You can both buy and sell Wanderland tickets on StubHub.
Staged at the Filinvest City Events Ground
Conceived by Karpos Multimedia Inc. with the intention of becoming the Philippines’ premier outdoor arts and music festival, Wanderland was first staged at the Globe Circuit Event Grounds in Makati in 2013. Performers included The Temper Trap, Nada Surf, Neon Trees and Avalanche City as well as the winners of the local Battle of the Bands contest known as Wanderband. The Drums, The Paper Kites and Lucy Rose all graced the line-up in 2014, with Kid Cudi, Youngblood Hawke and Lewis Watson appearing a year later and Death Cab for Cutie, The Naked and Famous and San Cisco performing in 2016. By 2017, Wanderland had become so popular that organisers also launched an accompanying prelude mini-concert titled Jansport x Wanderland Bonfire Session at the SM Mall of Asia by the Bay. The main event also moved home to the Filinvest City Event Grounds in Muntinlupa where it has remained ever since. Check out the range of Wanderland tickets available on StubHub.
From Grammy Award winners to local favourites
As Wanderland’s reputation has continued to grow, so have the profiles of the artists involved. Grammy winners Bon Iver, chart sensation Lauv and post-rock legends Explosions in the Sky are just some of the famous names to have graced its stages during the late 2010s. And in 2019, the likes of Two Door Cinema Club, Gabrielle Aplin and Clairo appeared at the festival’s first two-day event. In 2020, BRIT Award winners Foals and the artist formerly known as Chet Faker, Nick Murphy, headlined the first day with acts such as Omar Apollo, Cosmo’s Midnight and Ali Gatie appearing further down the bill. While on the second day, Indonesian talent NIKI and Japanese vocalist Joji took centre stage following sets from The Sundown, No Rome and Banna Harbera. Alongside all the eclectic musical acts, fans can also look forward to seeing some of the nation’s best visual artists, sample from a wide range of food and drink stalls and enjoy activities such as mini golf and basketball.
