Football World Cup 2022 stadiums
Although it is yet to be confirmed, there are expected to be eight stadiums that will host Football World Cup games in 2022. Five were unveiled at the beginning of 2010 when Qatar won the bid and the rest have been added. There will be four stadiums in Qatar's capital city Doha and four inLusail, Al Khor, Al Rayyan and Al Wakrah. The Doha venues are Khalifa International stadium (48,000 capacity), Qatar Foundation Stadium (45,350 capacity), Ras Abu Aboud Stadium (40,000 capacity) and Al Thumama Stadium (40,000 capacity). The other 2022 venues are Lusail Iconic Stadium (86,250 capacity), Al-Bayt Stadium (60,000), Ahmed bin Ali Stadium (44,740 capacity) and Al Wakrah Stadium (40,000 capacity).
As hosts of the 2022 tournament, Qatar have automatically qualified. The 2022 qualification process has yet to be announced, but you can be sure that Football World Cup qualifying tickets will be available here at StubHub.
