Biggest Hits: ”Tha Crossroad”, “1st of tha Month”
Bone Thugs-N-Harmony’s biggest hit goes back to 1996 with the Gammy-winning “Tha Crossroads”. Despite being their only Grammy, the group didn’t stop there with smash hits. In fact, one of their most famous songs came previously in ’94, “1st of tha Month”. It was their first song to break the top 20 and certainly helped them to continue on their path to fame as a hip-hop/rap group that was not only talented, but sticking around. The single “Look into my Eyes” peaked at 4 on the billboard charts and gained much popularity thanks to being included in the “Batman & Robin“ soundtrack. Other hits include “I Tried” feat Akon, “Thuggish Ruggish Bone”, and “If I Could Teach the World”.
Members of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony
Krayzie Bone, Layzie Bone, Bizzy Bone, and Wish Bone first started producing music in Cleveland, Ohio in the early 1990s. At the beginning, under a different group name The Band-Aid Boys, the rappers immediately grabbed the attention of some relatively important people and their debut EP “Creepin on ah Come Up” peaked close to the top of multiple charts. Shortly after their debut EP, they added a new member, Flesh-n-Bone, and established themselves once and for all as Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. Little did they know at the time that they would be an iconic group shaping and defining the hip-hop rap scene. They have done huge collaborations with major artists of all genres, including The Notorious B.I.G., Tupac, 3LW, Phill Collins, Mariah Carey, Avant, and Zhu.
